A fellowship of believers has met in Salhouse for more than 200 years. The church declined and was reformed in 1986, when Pastor Dean Olive took over the pastorate. After 3 years he returned to USA and Pastor David Bugden became the pastor. He retired in 1992 and since then the church has been without a pastor. The church consists of a few faithful members that meet to worship their Lord and Saviour. In the summer the congragation is swelled by visitors to the Broads, some returning each year. Visiting preachers faithfully bring the Word of God to the fellowship each week. The constitution ensures that either the Authorised or New King James Version of the Bible is used. Christian Hymns is the church hymn book.
